Turning to the left floods the face with warmth, but more importantly, reveals a full coconut. The waiter must have brought it by only recently. The temperature difference between my body and the painkiller impels my eyes open. He looks over to relay, "This might be the booze talking, but I think the booze is talking". "How can you tell"? Ignoring my question but responding nonetheless "I was talking to the waiter".
